Banda Ku/Ku Band:	11.7 – 12.2 GHz (Space – Earth) 14.0 – 14.5 GHz (Earth – Space
Banda C/C Band:	3700 – 4200 MHz (Space – Earth) 5925 – 6425 MHz (Earth – Space)

3. Requisitos de coordinación de frecuencias, en caso los hubiera/Frequency coordination requirements, if any:
Where the coordination area overlaps other administrations / territories, coordination with these administrations / territories are required

4. Políticas para terminales sólo de recepción/Policies for receive-only terminals:
Receive only terminals are required to be licenced by the National Frequency Management Unit.

5. Políticas para uso temporal como ser para captación de noticias por satélite (SNG)/Policies for temporary use such as Satellite News Gathering:
Currently there are no specific regulations governing the use of Satellite newsgathering services. Foreign operators of satellite newsgathering earth stations are eligible to apply for short term licences

6. Requisitos para aprobación, en caso los hubiera/Type Approval Requirements, if any:
Currently there are no regulations that cover equipment type approval in Guyana. However, in the absence of such regulations, we are guided by the type approval and standards of the FCC and Industry Canada

All licences issued are valid for a period of one year upon which they have to be renewed. Licences are not transferable. See attached fee schedule for the satellite services.

Very Small Aperture Terminals (VSAT's)	$360,000.00	A satellite earth operated by private companies or individuals for their own business dealing or transaction.
Television Receive Only (TVROs)
Domestic - Access to (1) satellite only	$6,000.00	A television satellite receiving station used only for domestic purposes, with access to more than one satellite only.
Access to more than one Satellite	$30,000.00	A television satellite receiving station used only for domestic purposes, with access to more than one satellite only.
Commercial	$600,000.00	A television satellite receive-only station used for commercial purposes.
