Meeting of the Rapporteur Group to Prepare for the WTSA will take place on May 23 in Brasilia, Brazil

Fellowships for two courses were offered in 2000:
- ISDN, Paraguay, 10 openings, August 21-25. In Spanish.
- Personal Communication Service - Wireless Technologies, Peru, 11 openings,
September 11-15. In Spanish.
Fellowships for the ISDN course (Paraguay) were awarded to the following:
