Joint ITU/CITEL Forum on Enabling and ICT business environment in the Americas Region will be held at the OAS Headquarters in Washington, DC, United States on April 21, 2008 XI Meeting of PCC.II will be held at the OAS Headquarters in Washington, DC, United States on April 22 to 25, 2008

To compile the available information and regulations of the following organizations with respect to the effects of non-ionizing radiation and the established technical standards:

a.1 World Health Organization;

a.2 Pan American Health Organization;

a.3 International Telecommunication Union;

a.4 ICNIRP (International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection);

a.5 MMF (MMF Mobile Manufacturers Forum);

a.6 IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers);

a.7 IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission).

To do a compilation of the regulations in force on electromagnetic radiation in the various Administrations of the Region and other Regions.
To consider the AHCIET Study on legislative rules and Control Procedures on radio electric emissions in Latin America, in view of the significant data contained therein.
To identify additional sources of information and submit them to the consideration of PCC.II at the IV Meeting of PCC.II
To post the final report in the CITEL Webpage.
